Challenge: Redbox is in the rare position of being known to almost all. But with so many entertainment options available—namely streaming giants such as Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon—the brand needed help finding its place in the market.
Solution: A social media positioning as a nostalgic brand that families and friends can enjoy together without distractions (no binge-watching, no second-screening, no endless scrolling). Redbox lovers are true movie-lovers, and the social content reflected that.
